I am currently the Official Photographer of the Hartford Yard Goats. In this position, I not only capture and edit live photo content, but video as well. I shot and edited this home stand cinematic with my Sony FX3 and Adobe Premiere Pro.
UConn Baseball Social Video
Throughout UConn Baseball’s 2023 season, I captured and edited multiple game recaps for the @uconnbsb social media pages. This is one example of said video style I produced using my Sony FX3 and Adobe Premiere Pro.
UConn Men’s Ice Hockey
As a freshman, I am positioned as a cinematographer and editor for the 2022-23 UConn Men’s Ice Hockey social content. Using my own footage, in addition to video melts provided by UConn’s production crew, I pieced together cinematic game highlights for Instagram and Twitter. These shots were edited and colored in Adobe Premiere Pro and are two examples of the projects I was producing all season.
UConn Basketball Media Day “Behind The Scenes”
As a freshman, I have been very lucky to work with both the UConn Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. Here is a collection of my behind the scenes content that I shot and edited for both teams and their social pages. These videos were produced with a Sony Alpha A7iii and Adobe Premiere Pro.
UConn Football x UConn Huskies
I was assigned with editing a reel for the @uconnhuskies main Instagram account in efforts to promote an upcoming football game. This video was shot by Quinn Hills-Gunn and edited by me.
UConn Rowing Alumni Race
I was tasked with shooting and editing the UConn Rowing Alumni Race and celebration of Title IX.
UConn Women’s Tennis Cinematic
I was assigned with filming and editing highlights of the UConn Women’s Tennis team in their matches against Sacred Heart.
Delta Zeta Bid Day 2022
I was hired by UConn’s Delta Zeta Chapter to film and edit a highlight of their 2022 Bid Day.
The Big East Conference
I was hired by the Big East Conference to assist in shooting the UConn vs. Providence mens’ basketball game. It was the first Big East event back with fans and a sold-out show. I edited this sequence of my own footage to highlight Providence’s huge win against the Huskies.
Hartford Yard Goats’ Social Video 2022
Throughout the summer of 2022, I shot and edited creative video content for the Hartford Yard Goats, the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. I produced these smaller video projects, typically less than two minutes long, to be shared across the Yard Goats social media pages.
Tolland High School Track (Preseason Cinematic)
I wanted to create something for my school’s track team. I reached out to one of my closest friends who is a long-distance competitor and one morning we got up at 8 AM to shoot a smaller video project. I directed this video, creating a write-up and narration, as well as a shot list, piecing together footage of his training to produce a more serious teaser for the track season starting the next day. I focused heavily on recording my own sound effects through an external microphone, using the sound design to add to the story.
EOST Bucks Hockey -Conference Championship Recap
When Bucks initially separated, the E.O. Smith Panthers became their own program. Tolland students were confused, questioning throughout their 8th grade school year whether they could justify going prep or transferring to a larger district. Bucks fans were heartbroken, previously witnessing the combined set of talent conquer three CCC-South conference championship titles and winning state in 2015. The program was forced to undergo a variety of changes, leading many of E.O. Smith and Tolland’s athletes to organize and reconsider merging once again, as with low numbers and minimal class size both programs were struggling independently. This decision was fulfilled, and following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the class of 2022 has kicked off yet another playoff run. With two class S schools coming together, it is tournament season for the Bucks, ending the regular period as the #1 program of Division III and the 2022 CCC-South Conference Champions. I created this video to highlight this moment and the class of 2022’s most memorable season.
Tolland High School Football: “Beat Avon!” - Gameday Trailer
The Tolland High School Football team was off to a strong 3-0 start. After a 20-17 loss to Class L’s South Windsor, the team looked to strike back in their next game against Avon. Working with my fellow classmates and athletes, I directed this sequence using a studio set up in my garage mixed with in-game footage.
Tolland High School Virtual Pep Rally (2021-2022)
Working under a seminar with my school principal, I was given the task of producing a Virtual Pep Rally. After piecing together footage of the different spirit week themes and days (over a 5 day period), I produced a ten-minute, interview-style production that encompassed the meaning of homecoming weekend and its effects on THS pride. This video was shared in our auditorium with the class of 2022 and in classrooms with the other three grades.
Tolland High School 8th Grade Orientation
Working with fellow class peer mentors, I shot and edited this promotional video for Tolland High School. The goal was to produce something that would highlight THS’s core values, goals, and objectives. This video was shared during 8th grade orientation for all the parents with upcoming Eagles as well as during the 8th graders’ visit to Tolland High School for our annual “Step Up Day”.
Welcome to The Nest
The Tolland High School student section, also known as “The Nest”, is one of the most energetic and supportive fan bases in the state of Connecticut. Students come together and push each other both in the classroom as well as on the field. I created this video with the intention of hyping up our first home event, victory, and most importantly, as a method of showcasing what it means to be an Eagle.
Gameday Hype
Working with the quarterback of our football team, I coordinated and shot this gameday hype video. I was aiming for a simple, pump-up mix that would be displayed on our morning announcements for Tolland High School’s first home game.
Tolland High School Football - Game Recap
Following each game, I would produce and edit a small game recap video. I used these smaller sequences to provide general context of in-game events and increase school spirit throughout the week. These videos were fun to make and produced the best levels of engagement within the @thsnest Instagram I managed throughout my Junior and Senior years of high school.
Tolland High School Boys’ Basketball Senior Night (2022)
As a senior in high school, I was shocked at how fast time went by. I shot and edited this video of our senior night in order to capture some of the final moments and highlights of my friends and classmates on the basketball court.
IMG Academy: “Mad Man”
I was sitting in my room one weekend when I received a text from a friend. He explained that IMG Academy’s National Team was playing nearby in Springfield, Massachusetts. I created this Instagram video, helping market some of the best players in the country and experiencing a new level of high school football.
Player Spotlight
In my time creating for my high school, I wanted to emphasize a more emotional side to athletics and give the opportunity for all athletes to express their own voice. I created a “Player Spotlight” series for Instagram. This series consists of simple questions revolving around personal growth, each team and its’ goals, in addition to other news or information.
Team Spartans Basketball - 2024 National Team Championship Mix
In a team of three, (myself, @max.videos, and @iseeyouproductions) I was hired to produce digital content for one of the top AAU basketball teams in the country. In creating for the team, one project I worked on was the 2024 National team’s championship mixtape. Spartans had taught me how to work efficiently, capture multiple teams at once, and produce fast turnaround times while editing fast-paced, pump-up style videos for the @goteamspartans Instagram account.
