UConn Athletics
In my freshman year of college, I joined the UConn Huskies Creative Video staff. In this internship role, I was tasked with filming and editing cinematic social media content of ALL University of Connecticut athletics teams. I was also a graphic design and photo intern where I was able to work many events and challenge my skillset outside of video. In each section below, I have attached a few of my favorite projects from working with a mix of teams.
UConn Women’s Basketball
At the start of the season, I was tasked with capturing and editing behind the scenes content of our basketball media day. I put together this video for the Women’s Basketball team and their social media pages to give an inside look at the team for the 2023-2024 season.
UConn Men’s Hockey
A large portion of my freshman year was spent documenting the season of UConn Men’s Hockey. I filmed and edited a recap video for nearly every home win. These two projects were my favorite from the season. UConn had upgraded their home arena with the new Toscano Family Ice Forum and I am forever grateful for UConn Athletics’ Video Department and the opportunities they gave me as I settled into freshman year in Storrs.
UConn Baseball
Throughout the season, I was tasked with helping UConn Baseball’s content team. As a Yard Goats fan, Hook C’s win in Dunkin’ Park was one to remember and a special video for me as I spent my summer creating content in America’s #1 Minor League Ballpark.
